What is the free service warranty on new cordless SDS hammer drills?

As of January 1,2010,the DEWALT cordless SDS hammer drills will now have a 2 year free service plan.

These hammer drills will have date codes of 2010-01 and later.Warranty is now 3 year limited warranty,2 year free service and 90 day money back guarantee.

We will also cover warranty on DEWALT SDS products regardless of the manufacturing date if purchased after January 1,2010 with a valid receipt.

Who do I contact if I have an extended warranty for my tool?

If you have an extended warranty for any DEWALT product,claims should be filed through the party the extended warranty is held by, this means the retailer.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

DEWALT does not offer extended warranties beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty,nor do we process such claims.

Extended warranties are most commonly obtained from the store where purchased,the credit card company it was purchased with or in some instances-directly from an aftermarket extended warranty company.
